What is Copyright?

  • The author is the natural person who has created a literary or artistic work, whom the Law protects to stimulate his creativity.
  • Copyright is the recognition by the State in favour of the creator of literary or artistic works so that he/she enjoys exclusive privileges of a personal and patrimonial nature.
