BASIC AND APPLIED RESEARCH DIRECTION

CONVENE

The academic community is invited to submit applications for support for research projects in the different areas of knowledge in accordance with the following lines of research:

  1. Human and social development:
    1. Family
    2. Education.
    3. The human person, dignity, and transcendence.
    4. Dialogue between science, faith, and culture.
    5. Politics and government.
  2. Life sciences and bioethics:
    1. Sustainability
    2. Well-being
    3. Bioethics
    4. Community health.
    5. Integral ecology.
  3. Competitiveness and strategy:
    1. Strategic planning
    2. Trade and services
    3. Productivity and competitiveness
    4. Entrepreneurship and innovation
    5. Social economy
  4. Innovation and technology
    1. Energy
    2. Information and communication technologies
    3. Industry 4.0
    4. Aerospace and automotive
    5. Mathematical modelling
    6. Medical engineering.


Basis:

To be a full-time or part-time lecturer at UPAEP.

  1. Have proven experience in research activities (CV and evidence will be requested if necessary).
  2. Each researcher can submit only one application.

  5. The deadline for submission of the proposal is 30 June 2023.
  6. The results will be announced by email in mid-August 2023.

Criteria:

Project proposals will be evaluated by the Research Committee based on criteria such as:

  1. The relevance of the subject addressed in the project with the lines of approach defined in the Academic Systems of Social Relevance, listed at the beginning of this document.
  2. The training of human resources. Of utmost importance is the inclusion of undergraduate and postgraduate teachers and students whose contribution to the project and their own professional training is clearly defined.
  3. The submission of inclusive proposals through the registered Academic Groups.
  4. The relevance of the proposal in relation to the specialisation and skills of the team that will develop the project.
  5. Evaluations of projects supported in previous years' calls will be considered.
  6. Priority will be given to projects:
    1. With commitments established with instances external to UPAEP (P/e: Conahcyt, Concytep, Fund. Produce, SEP Federal, SAGARPA, Fund. Templeton, FUMEC, MILSET, etc.), and that provide resources for its implementation.
    2. Whose head is a member of the National System of Researchers.

General considerations:

  1. Proposals must be sent, in due time and form, through the platform indicated above, once the reception period is over, no further applications will be considered.
  2. Proposals from researchers who are overdue for information or evidence to the Research Directorate will not be eligible.
  3. All proposals submitted must be aligned with current institutional budget policies.
